Fans of the superhero genre already know to expect crossover events. On the CW network, actor Robert Knepper (Prison Break) will be moving from Arrow onto The Flash as one of the deadliest super villains in DC Comics history.

Audiences will be anxiously awaiting for the eighth episode as characters from both superhero shows crossover. One episode earlier on The Flash might put the highly anticipated plot into motion. Known for playing such gripping antagonists, such as T-Bag, Entertainment Weekly reports Knepper will reprise his role on the Arrow spinoff as The Clock King.

Because of the baddie appearing in the animated series, comic book fans are more accustomed seeing Clock King in Batman's rogue gallery. A victim of tragic misunderstanding, William Tockman planned to rob a bank in order to play for his sick sister's health bills. When the robber was caught by Green Arrow, his sister died alone while he was incarcerated.

Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg tells TV Line, "We wanted to give Barry a real challenge...fighting both a new enemy, and one of our scariest and most successful Arrow villains in The Clock King."

In the comic books, Clock King is a member of the super villain group, Injustice League. We also mentioned here, Wentworth Miller will be playing Captain Cold. Could we be seeing a Prison Break reunion as well?

Robert Knepper will show up as The Clock King inThe Flash. Readers are you excited to see the return of this DC Comics baddie?
