With Marvel's Agent Carter stealing the spotlight at San Diego Comic-Con, audiences are anxiously awaiting for the ABC premiere. Lead actress Hayley Atwell teases viewers an "intense adventure" filled with lots of twist and turns.
As we mentioned here, the first season takes place after Peggy Carter (Atwell) has returned home from World War II. Just because the ex-solider isn't fight anymore, that doesn't mean she isn't thinking about jumping into the line of fire. Carter has to fill that void after losing the love of her life, Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), in Captain America: The First Avenger.
In the interview with TV Line, Atwell will start filming the highly anticipated first season at the end of September. The skilled thespian has ten weeks to train herself and get in shape for the stunt-work. The action star will attempt to do her own stunts as much as legally possible.
The starlet has also just read the pilot, and describes the eight-episode arc as "very contained, intense adventure, with lots of twists and turns along the way. There isn't much time for it to breathe, or to become too diluted; drawn out."

Atwell continues, "It's going to be a lot of adventure, a lot of action, as well as driving the plot along for this girl struggling to conform this better world for herself and the people around her."
As mentioned here, the leading lady will reunite with her First Avenger director, Joe Johnston, on the fourth episode.
Marvel's Agent Carter is expected to premiere when Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is on its mid-season break. Readers, are you excited to see Hayley Atwell doing her own stunts?
