With the Breaking Bad marathon on its way at AMC, this is the perfect opportunity to pick out our favorite scenes from the award-winning crime drama. Here are the top 5 best episodes from Bryan Cranston as the cancer-stricken drug kingpin Walter White.
Previously, we did a list about the top 5 best tough-guy moments from Hank Schrader, played by Dean Norris. Now it's time to take a peak at the best episodes starring Cranston as the chemistry teacher gone bad.
5) 'Over'
Walter notices two small-time drug dealers are trying to imitate his meth recipe. With TV on the Radio playing in the background, he confronts both of them in the parking lot. Even though of them is bigger and stronger, Walter doesn't fold and states, "Stay out of my territory."
4) 'Cornered'
This is the episode where Skylar (Anna Gunn) releases her drug-dealing husband was involved in Gale's death. When Skylar says she wants to go to the police., that's when Walter tells her to shut up. This is the part where White delivers the memorable lines, that even Samuel L Jackson repeated, "I am the danger! I am the one who knocks!"
3) 'Blood Money'
Not only did Cranston prove himself to great at comedic timing, he is also good behind the camera lens too. The Godzilla actor directed the gripping episode as Hank Schrader (Dean Norris) confronted Walter about his shady dealings. Notice the close-up when White delivers his threat, "Tread lightly."
2) 'Crazy Handful Of Nothin'
This is where Walter shaves off his hair and calls himself for the first time, Heisenberg. Cornered by Tuco Salamanca (Raymond Cruz)'s henchmen, the crime lord thinks he has the upper-hand. But that's not "meth" that Walter brought with him.
1) 'Pilot'
This is where it all started for audiences. If you didn't feel for White's misfortunate and problems, you wouldn't have rooted for him all these five seasons.
The Breaking Bad Binge Marathon starts at 5pm through 1am on August 10. Readers, what's your favorite Walter White episode?
