'Real Housewives Of New York' Wedding- Aviva Drescher No Show For Father's George Teichner & Dana Lavette Cody's Nuptials

It was a Real Housewives of New York wedding, except the only problem was no one on the Bravo series was in attendance.

The nuptials of RHONY cast member Aviva Drescher's father George Teichner to Dana Lavette Cody took place earlier this month in Malibu, California where they tied the knot in a beach ceremony.

However, the top-secret nature of the wedding kept everyone away including George's daughter Aviva, according to RadarOnline.

Cody, took to her Twitter account to explain the very strange absence.

"@avivadrescher was not the ONLY "NO SHOW"..because we DID NOT TELL ANYONE!!!!" Cody explained on the social site. "Neither family members were aware!! My #HUSBAND & myself only allowed the world to view our love via #RHONY @bravotv so that the public can understand that #truelove & #soulmates exist despite ageism,& cultural differences!! We are truly not into "showbiz" -only into each other... Certain moments in life are #priceless!!!!!"

The couple got engaged on the past season of the Real Housewives of New York to everyone's surprise, viewers and housewives included.

The wedding was attended by only a select number of guests according to the source.

The 25-year-old bride wore a white fitted gown while holding a bouquet of white and yellow flowers, which George matched with his yellow tie and pocket square.

Aviva was on the other side of the country in Sag Harbor when Cody and George were exchanging vows. She posted a picture of herself with her family captioning it, "Ice Cream in Sag Harbor." #family #SummerNights #RHONY."

The newlyweds will be spending their honeymoon together in Hawaii, as Cody already Instagrammed a picture from Turtle Bay Beach.
