We are now three episodes down before the final season of HBO's True Blood finishes off. We are 'Almost Home' as the residents of Bon Temps struggle with the spread of the Hepatitis V infection.

At the Light of Day camp, Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) decides to give herself up to Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) and Mr. Gus (Will Yuen Lee). Northman super-speeds across, grabs Sarah and squeezes her throat. Pam (Kristen Bauer van Straten) convinces her maker to let Sarah live but drinks her blood, which holds the antidote.

Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) and Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) are lying in bed. Their time together is interrupted by Eric, who shows up healed from the infection. Hearing about Bill being sick makes Eric rethink his plans with Mr. Gus, who wants to make more money out of his distribution with New Blood.

While Hoyt and Bridget are arguing, Jason (Ryan Kwanten) receives a text on his cell. He is sent pictures of Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) and Adilyn (Bailey Noble) tied up and gagged. With Bridget chasing after him, Jason rushes over to Violet's mansion.

Before he gets out of the car, Jason hands Bridget one of his firearms. As Jason sneaks his way around, Violet suddenly appears and captures him. She drags her ex-boyfriend to the sex dungeon, where everyone else is.

While Violet threatens to kill them all, Hoyt shows up to save the day. Hoyt pulls the trigger and shoots Violet right in the back. As Violet explodes into a puddle of blood, Hoyt doesn't realize he has just killed his mother's murderer.

Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) is still digging in the backyard with Lettie Mae at their old house. James shows up to offer them his vampire blood. During their hallucination, they travel back in time when Tara (Rutina Wesley) was just a little girl.

As a child, Tara saw her father hit her mother. Though Tara wanted to pull the trigger, she couldn't shoot her abusive parent. This is a moment of reconciliation between mother and daughter; a chance for Lettie Mae to let go of Tara.

While Jason and Jessica discuss their beautiful friendship, Sookie chases after Eric and heads straight to Fangstasia. While the Yakuza have their guns pointed at her, Sookie listens in on Mr. Gus' thoughts, revealing where Sarah is hidden. It turns out the Texas billionaire doesn't trust his new business partners.

Hoyt visits Jessica, which feels like the two are rekindling their old romance. After Hoyt leaves, Sookie shows up to tell Jessica that she saw Sarah Newlin in the basement of Fangtasia. They now have a cure for Bill.

While Sookie sneaks Bill to Fantagsia's basement, Eric and Pam find the trio with Sarah. Though Bill has the perfect opportunity to cure himself, he doesn't take it.
