Kristen Stewart doesn't talk much about her past relationship with former "Twilight" sweetheart, Robert Pattinson. But was it fame and fortune that ultimately tore Robsten apart?

The 24-year-old actress looked gorgeous flaunting some Chanel chain necklaces in the grocery aisle, but things took a turn for the serious when she began discussing life as a celebrity.

The pressure to please everyone can be overwhelming. Which is why she apparently doesn't smile much in pictures!

"I feel like if I smiled for a paparazzi photo - not that I ever would - that's exactly what people would be desecrating me for," Stewart explains. "They'd be like, 'Now you're going to give it up, now you're a sellout.' Like, OK, what do you want? What would you like?"

So how does she deal with the demanding stress of Hollywood? Just go-with-the-flow and let things take their course:

"Never at any point have I sat down and plotted how I should proceed from here on. As soon as you start thinking about your career as a trajectory-like, as if you're going to miss out on some wave or momentum-then you're never doing anything for yourself anyway... Then you're truly, actually, specifically working for the public. You're turning yourself into a bag of chips."

So, what does this have anything to do with Stewart's failed relationship with R-Patz?

Well, they were both thrown into the limelight so quickly, it was hard to handle! They both had to open their eyes and change their typical ways of living - fast:

"The day the movie [Twilight] came out there was a picture of me...vI was sitting on the front porch, smoking a pipe with my ex-boyfriend and dog. And I was like, Oh sh*t, well, I have to be aware of that." 

She doesn't mention 28-year-old Pattinson by name, but come on now!
