Another day, another celebrity divorce. David Duchovny and Tea Leoni have decided to throw in the towel on their marriage after being together for 17-years. The two actors have cited "irretrievable breakdown of the relationship," as the cause for their ultimate breakup.
According to TMZ, the Californication star and Fun With Dick & Jane star filed for divorce back in June and have handled the terms of the divorce quietly on their own terms.
The terms that they have decided upon will be sharing joint custody of their two kids, Kyd Miller, 12, and Madelaine West, 15, where Leoni will have primary custody of them.
The couple resides in New York City on the Upper West Side, so it will be easy for them to be shuffle between the two of them.
In agreement to the document, David will have to pay $8,333 per month for child support on top of $40,000 that he will need to pay Tea in spousal support. Duchovny will also foot the bill for the children's schooling, their summer camp, as well as their college educations.
In the past, the couple has separated twice, once back in 2008, following Duchovny's admittance into rehab for sex addition. The pair reconciled a few months later before splitting again in 2011, and then getting back together a few months after that.
It seems like this time the separation is for good, as PEOPLE is reporting that the couple had been separated for two months prior to their filing for divorce.
