Robin Williams death is one that is being felt throughout the whole world. His The Crazy Ones costar Sarah Michelle Gellar is speaking out today about her former TV dad saying that he was like the father "she always dreamed of having."
The two starred together on the short-lived CBS comedy that was cancelled earlier this year, as father and daughter Simon and Sydney, who worked together at an ad agency.
Gellar opened up to PEOPLE in a statement reflecting on her fond memories of the late Academy Award winning actor.
"My life is a better place because I knew Robin Williams," Gellar told the magazine. "To my children he was Uncle Robin, to everyone he worked with, he was the best boss anyone had ever known, and to me he was not just an inspiration but he was the Father I had always dreamed of having."
Daughter Zelda remembers her father in touching tribute.
"There are not enough adjectives to describe the light he was, to anyone that ever had the pleasure to meet him," she continued. "I will miss him everyday, but I know the memory of him will live on. And to his family, I thank them for letting us know him and seeing the joy they brought him. Us crazy ones love you."
Comedians Conan O'Brien, Jay Leno, & Bill Cosby pay respects to Williams.
The Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress also took to Twitter to post a cute collage of photos of her and the late actor.
