It is a sad week in Hollywood, and for the cast of Mrs. Doubtfire who costarred along side actor Robin Williams. MStars News has been keeping you updated every hour with more information following the suicide of the icon comedian, actor.
The actor's apparent suicide on Monday has definitely came as a shock not just to fans, and celebrities, and the film co-workers, but also the people closet to Williams, including is his family, and his Mrs. Doubtfire family.
According to TooFab, Robin's Mrs. Doubtfire costars have also shared their memories of the beloved actor following Monday's breaking news.
Matthew Lawrence, now 34 and played William's son on the flim revealed, "I am devastated. He was the single most important influence in my career and not a day goes by I don't appreciate the time I got to spend with him. My deepest thoughts and prayers are with his family."
Lisa Jakub, who played William's oldest daughter in the hit 90s movie, also opened up about how she at the age of 14 had to maintain schoolwork while working on set for the 1993 film for five months.
"Robin noticed that I was sad and asked me what was wrong. I explained what had happened, and the next day, he handed me a letter that he wrote to my school. He explained that I was just trying to continue my education while pursuing my career. He wrote embarrassingly kind things about my character and my work ethic, and requested that they reconsider and allow me to return to my classes," Jakub recalled about Williams.
"Robin stood up for me. He was in my corner. I was only 14, but I had already seen that I was in an industry that was full of back-stabbing. And it was entirely clear that Robin had my back," she added. "I always assumed there would be some future opportunity to tell him that his letter changed my life. It taught me that you stand up for the things that matter. And even if your attempts fail, you tried. You told the truth. You took care of your friends. You fought back."
In a video, ( CLICK HERE TO SEE ) Pierce Brosnan, the client and new lover of Field in the film, says he feels "deep sadness" about the death of Williams. He also said, that Williams was "the best."
Sally Field, who played Williams wife in Mrs. Doubtfire, said in a statement to FOX 411, "He always lit up when he was able to make people laugh, and he made them laugh his whole life long... tirelessly. He was one of a kind. There will not be another. Please God, let him now rest in peace."
Mara Wilson, who played the youngest Hillard daughter in the 1993 movie, expressed her shock via Twitter -- tweeting "Very sad, very upset, very glad I did not have to hear about this though Twitter. Probably going to be taking some time off it for a while."
