Revenge Season 4 Spoilers: David Clarke's Storyline Involves Traumatic Issues

The Season 3 finale of ABC's Revenge featured the surprise return of Emily's (Emily VanCamp) father David Clarke (James Tupper), whom the fans and characters had assumed was dead. Apparently, he was just biding his time until the right moment to make his return to the Hamptons.

But what sort of storyline will David have during Season 4? The "Spoiler Chat" column at E! Online reports the following.

'I'm really excited to be back with the cast, it's super fun,' James Tupper says of being resurrected. As for what version of David fans will be meeting? 'I think he's been through a lot in his life, he's working it out. He's got a lot of issues. Maybe he needs a therapist?' Because that always goes so well on Revenge."

Previous reports have indicated David's return will have a profound effect on not just Emily, but Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe), whom fans last saw in a mental institution at the end of Season 3 thanks to Emily's plan.
