Taylor Swift is the country girl known for writing heart felt songs about her relationships and break ups that many people can relate to on a personal level.  On her next album, Taylor confessed that the lyrics "are sad. If I'm being honest."

Rumors have recently surfaced that her parents' marriage have been on the rocks and that sweet Swift's new album may have some songs referencing that.

Swift's parents, Andrea and Scott, may have separated some time in the past two years after 25 years of marriage, according to an unconfirmed report on Star magazine via Radaronline.  Not wanting to affect their daughter's career, they kept quiet from the media.

The 'Star' source revealed, "The Swifts stopped wearing their wedding rings.  They haven't filed for divorce because they don't want it to damage Taylor's career."

On how Swift is dealing with her parents' love story gone wrong, the source continued, "She's been going through a lot.  The new album will showcase the pain of her parents' separation."

Since Swift shot up to stardom, Andrea has stood by her daughter at every tour to offer support and encouragement.  Because she is away from home often, it may have added strain to her own marriage.

"Andrea being on tour with Taylor full-time has really been hard on her relationship with Scott," the source said.

Let's hope that this stays as just a rumor and that Swift will not have to sing too many sad songs.
