Nicki Minaj is being sued because she decided to be late for an NBA All-Star party. According to TMZ, the promoters revealed that the singer, actress took $50,000 to make a one hour appearance, but came fashionable late, just because celebrities usually do, and think that they can, and left early.
The court documents show that the Anaconda rapper was supposed to make her appearance at Siren Studios in Hollywood during the 2011 NBA All-Star weekend in L.A., where the flyer also shows that rapper Lil Wayne, Drake, and Trey Songz were also supposed to be in attendance.
The contract said that The Other Woman actress was supposed to attend the party, but not perform from 12 AM to 1 AM. But the lawsuit claims that promoters say that the 2014 VMAs performer didn't show up until after 1:30 and left before 2 AM.
The promoter is requesting to get all of their $50K back, plus other fees to payback the cost of her hotel arrangements and other lost revenue.
