'Dancing With The Stars' Pro Derek Hough Heads To ABC's 'Nashville' For Season 3- Will He Be Wooing Hayden Panettiere?

Derek Hough better trade in those dancing shoes for some cowboy boots now that the Dancing With the Stars hottie is headed down south to Nashville.

In addition to coming back to the hit ABC reality series for season 19, Hough is also set to appear on the ABC musical drama Nashville, when it premieres this fall, according to PEOPLE.

It looks like the network just can't get enough of the Hough.

Derek tweeted about his excitement of joining the cast saying he "can't wait."

He will be joining the third season of the country drama as Noah West, who ABC describes as a "beguiling and disarming" guy who will interact with Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) on the set of a biopic, where he has landed the leading role playing a famous country crooner.

Sparks are sure to fly between Noah and Juliette as they are set to play onscreen lovers in the fictional film.

Also set to take shape this season is Juliette's pregnancy story line, according to E! News, which the creators of the show are incorporating into the series because of Hayden's real life pregnancy. Could Derek's character possibly be the baby daddy to Juliette's unborn child? We will have to tune in and find out.

The third season of Nashville will premiere on September 24, and you can catch Derek on Dancing With the Stars when it returns on September 19.
