Former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Staub opens up to Oprah during the newest installment of a Oprah: Where Are They Now about her experience on the reality series and the heartbreak it caused her.

Staub was the center of some major drama during her two-season stint on the Bravo series. Whether she was getting tables thrown at her, or getting her hair pulled out at fancy country clubs, she definitely made for some entertaining TV.

The host checked in on Staub during this past Sunday's episode, where she got the details on Danielle's life after The Real Housewives, including her emotional revelation that she had thought about committing suicide because the show had broken her down so much.

"Unfortunately, there was some really difficult moments which ended up being the turning point for me," Danielle reveals in a clip from the show.

In the emotional video below, that was posted by NJ.com, she explains that she had set in place plans to kill herself, even having her children's father take her two kids away for the weekend so that she could go through with it.

"The only reason I didn't is because I would never want that to be the last memory my kids had of me," the former RHONJ housewife explains.

"The make me live, they make me strong, they're my everything," she says.

However, despite all the negativity that the show caused her, she said last month that she is often getting asked to return to the series, but always turns it down. She then went on to say that if executive producer Andy Cohen asked her back again she wouldn't say no.
