The opening weekend of the 2014/15 Premier League season is here at long last. On Saturday 16 August the opening round of fixtures will begin, with stars like Wayne Rooney and Alexis Sanchez hoping to fire Manchester United and Arsenal to victories over Swansea and Crystal Palace. Who will win the title: Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea or Manchester City? The roller-coaster ride begins here. Check out the preview and opening day fixtures below:

Man Utd V Swansea

Leicester V Everton

QPR V Hull

Stoke V Aston Villa

West Brom V Sunderland

West Ham V Tottenham

Arsenal V Crystal Palace

Manchester United will be gunning to start the season in style, but they face the difficult test of beating Swansea. Arsenal are hoping to prove they are title contenders with an early, emphatic victory over Crystal Palace. Another big clash on the opening day will see London clubs West Ham and Tottenham face one another. Leicester will take on Everton, whilst QPR will welcome Hull to Loftus Road. Stoke will face Aston Villa and West Brom and Sunderland will look to start the season by beating one another.

At the moment it's hard to look past Manchester City or Chelsea winning the league, but any opening day shocks may soon change the minds of many. Who will lift the trophy at the seasons end?
