Should Eminem battle rapper Jay-Z, or Nas?
According to NYC emcee Loaded Lux, there's a huge chance that the infamous "Rap God" might challenge both fellow hip-hop superstars sometime in the near future!
Thanks to Slim Shady's new Pay-Per-View special "Total Slaughter," the popularity of freestyle rap battles are on the rise once again. Murda Mook was crowned the ultimate champ back in July, and he's even prepared to "take on" Eminem onstage.
Shady's currently touring with Rihanna on this summer's highly-anticipated "The Monster" Tour, but Lux believes that the Detroit emcee's ready to "go back to his hip-hop roots" soon.
"[Battle rap in big venues] is becoming the new normal. Why Meek Mill couldn't jump in there with Lil Wayne? It's so many that could do it. Everybody in Slaughterhouse could do it," Lux recently said in an interview with VladTV. "Eminem, come on, he's from that. Let him get a big enough playing field. Em versus Nas, or Em versus Jay - it's coming."
That's a pretty big statement.
This rejuvenation in rap battles would even help the industry financially:
"[If] people just stop buying albums, and they start paying just to see battles. What you think the game gonna do?"
Interesting point - do Mstars fans agree?
