'True Blood' Recap: Deborah Ann Woll Searches For Hoyt In 'Love Is To Die,' Sneak Preview Of 'Thank You' [Watch Video]

A few chapters are about to close in the penultimate episode of HBO's True Blood. A longtime resident of Bon Temps leaves, two lovers reunite, and a new relationship is about to start in 'Love Is To Die.'

Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) and Sookie (Anna Paquin) are shocked Bill (Stephen Moyer) will not drink from Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp). After Sookie slaps Bill twice, Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) stops her. Before Compton leaves, he releases Jessica as his progeny.

When Sookie goes to visit Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell), she discovers his entire house is empty. Making his choice, Sam has left Bon Temps to be with his wife and raise his child. Sookie has to go to Arlene's restaurant to deliver the rest of Sam's farewell letters.

At Arlene's small party, Jessica apologizes to her ex-boyfriend, James, for not caring enough about him. She leaves in a hurry to go find Hoyt, who is in the middle of an argument with Bridget. Jessica reveals to Hoyt they knew each other before and she forced him to forget.

Arlene tries to console Sookie about Bill's inevitable death. She has to make up her mind, whether to accept to keep going on or not. Finally, Sookie accepts and joins the others for their last supper.

Eric and Bill have a heart-to-heart talk about death. Bill had a fever dream that Sookie had given birth to death. He asks for Northman's help to bring the two track together before his final moments.

Crying over her breakup with Hoyt, Bridget calls Jason (Ryan Kwanten) to pick her up. When Jason arrives, Hoyt swings his fist and knocks him out with one punch. When Jason wakes up, he realizes Bridget is driving his squad car.

Pam (Kristen Bauer van Straten) decides to give Sarah a haircut, While she is bleaching her brunette hair back to blonde, Pam recalls her time running a brothel where she met a hooker named Mary. Just like Sarah, Mary thinks she isn't a prostitute but she really is.

Jason reveals to Bridget what really happened between him and Hoyt. He ruined his friendship with Hoyt by sleeping his girlfriend. Hoyt had already met the girl he was supposed to be with; he just forgot he already met her.

Jessica reconciles with Hoyt, healing his bruised hand with her blood. The two end up in bed together, stripping naked in the midst of passionate lovemaking. At long last, the destined lovers are back together.

After flying Sookie to her home, Eric returns to Fangtasia and has a quickie romp with Ginger. All of sudden, he discovers his nightclub is empty and heads straight down to the basement. Mr. Gus (Will Yun Lee) has Pam chained up to a guillotine.

Before the stake drops, Eric confesses to Mr. Gus that Sookie knows about Sarah. To save Pam, Eric has to tell him where Sookie is.
