Resident Evil fans, who were anxiously awaiting for the sixth installment, The Final Chapter in the videogame/horror franchise, are going to have to wait a little while longer. Leading actress Milla Jovovich (The Fifth Element) and director/husband Paul W.S. Anderson (Pompeii) are joyously expecting another child together.
The Hollywood Reporter states that the much anticipated Resident Evil 6 has been put on hold because of the couple's bundle of joy. As reported here, the title and even a co-star were previously announced for the upcoming film project. Anderson was very keen on using 3-D camera for the sequel as well.
The Ultraviolent action star announced the wonderful news on her official Facebook page. In a lengthy post, the Ukrainian-born model-turned-actress was thrilled to tell her fans about baby number two. To make the best film possible, the brunette beauty knew being pregnant and filming the action sequences would not work well for her benefit.
Jovovich states, "We thought it would be in everyone's best interest to wait till the baby is born before we set out to try and tackle an RE movie. Between the stunt work and what will become my ever-expanding belly, we didn't think pregnancy and zombie killing are the best combo!"
The Married With Children guest star teases, "Lol! I imagine the only thing I'll be killing in the near future is an endless supply of cupcakes."

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is expected to begin filming again in South Africa summer 2015. We wish Milla Jovovich and Paul W.S. Anderson all the best on this wonderful occasion.
