A new advertisement for Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has appeared in Hollywood at the intersection of Barham and Cahuenga, and EW captured a picture of the somewhat bizarre promo poster.
The ad bears a striking resemblance to the alien text that Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) was carving into the wall in the final scene of Season 1. What does this mean? No idea, but it's interesting that the billboard gives almost no indication that it is advertising Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. via a title, date and time or logo. Regardless, you can check out the photo at the top of the page.
Much of the mystery in Season 1 revolved around Coulson's resurrection after Loki (Tom Hiddleston) killed him in The Avengers. When Coulson did find answers, all he found were more questions. The serum that helped bring him back to life came from a deceased or comatose blue, humanoid creature that many fans believed was a Kree, though the show did not confirm this on or off screen.
Now, a new video that features some behind-the-scenes footage of Season 2 shows Coulson and Skye (Chloe Bennet) together, but it also provides a look at a muscular man with a blue arm. Presumably, this is the blue creature we saw in the first season, and it looks like the makeup department is applying the blue paint. Check it out for yourself here.
What do you make of this bizarre alien writing? Do you think it's connected to the Kree at all? Let us know in the comments.
