After a brief lull, more set photos have surfaced from the filming of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice in Michigan that could shed a little bit of light on three supporting characters.
Bananadoc posted some photos of Tao Okamoto, Holly Hunter and Scoot McNairy. Okamoto is rumored to play Mercy Graves, the assistant to Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) who has numerous talents, including physical combat. Hunter, meanwhile, was rumored to play Bruce Wayne's (Ben Affleck) doctor, but new information seemingly revealed she would play a politician.
Perhaps the most interesting photo is of McNairy, which you can see at the top of the page (Bananadoc sent the photo exclusively to Batman-News). His character has been kept under wraps since the announcement of his involvement in the film, but notice the green wrappings around his legs. Is it possible McNairy is playing The Flash and the green material is for special effects to create the blur effect for his legs while running? It's only an idea at this point, but it would certainly be interesting if the speedster showed up in a cameo in the movie.

In case you missed it, Affleck recently spoke to EW.com and addressed the harsh backlash against his casting in the movie. "Before I took the role, Warner Bros. gave me a bunch of past reactions to casting and said, 'Are you sure you want to get into this? This is part and parcel of these movies now. There's a lot of active fans with a lot of opinions.' To me, having been through a certain amount of that, it doesn't really... Everyone's entitled to their opinion. I wouldn't have taken the part if I didn't trust my instincts in terms of the filmmaking. I think Chris Terrio wrote a terrific script. Zack's a great visual director. And there's an interesting take. I wouldn't have done it if I didn't think I could do it. I have the benefit of a lot of that understanding. But also, everyone is entitled to their opinion. That's a big part of this international sport. The Fifty Shades of Grey kid or whatever it is. That's sort of become a thing."
What do you think of the set photos? Could McNairy be The Flash? Let us know in the comments.
