Dancing With the Stars is about to get even star power, as everyone's favorite former dancing pro, Julianne Hough is set to rejoin the cast. However, there is a little stipulation, as she won't be back to burning up the dance floor just yet. She will instead be sitting next to it, on the judge's panel.
The former DWTS pro turned Hollywood actress, is expected to be taking up residency on the panel when the series returns this September to ABC, according to new reports from TMZ.
The news site has learned that the Footloose actress will be joined by the three returning judges, Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, and Bruno Tonioli on the 19th season of the show. Producers and creators behind the series are opening up a fourth seat on the panel just for Hough to sit in.
Julianne and the execs behind the show are currently in negotiations, but the news site is reporting that things are looking good.
For all the fans out there that loved seeing Hough show off her acting chops in films like Burlesque and Rock of Ages, don't worry, she's still be acting. TMZ reports that the commitment to the series will only be a few hours a week, which will leave plenty of time for other acting endeavors.
It's going to be a hard position, as she will now have to critic her brother and dancing pro Derek Hough. Hopefully, she doesn't be too hard on him.
The new season of Dancing With that Stars will premiere on Monday, September 15 at 8 pm on ABC.
