Say it isn't so. Chelsea Handler is about to call it quits on her E! late night series Chelsea Lately, and while we have been dreading this day for the last few months, we are hearing news about the series finale that is making us pretty happy. Miley Cyrus has been recruited to help the comedian go out with a bang, as she will be performing on the last episode of the late night talk show.
According to E! News, the final episode, which will be broadcasted live on August 26, will include the Bangerz singer performing one of Roy Orbison's hit songs appropriately titled, "It's Over." Miley is a huge fan of the singer's, as she has previously expressed her love for him on her Twitter account.
Cyrus who is currently tour on her Bangerz Tour has been pretty busy lately with her shows around the world, as well as her crafting habit. Just the other day Miley made a 5 ft. bong out of charm bracelets that she has made as well as ones that fans have given her.
This appearance on the show must be pretty special to Cyrus as she is taking time out of her busy schedule to be a par of it. She must really like Chelsea to take the time out to say goodbye to the E! celebrity.
Miley has announced today that she will be taking her Bangerz show to New Zealand, in the coming months.
The final one-hour live episode of Chelsea Lately will air on Tuesday, August 26 at 11 pm on the E! network.
