Jessica Sanchez Admits She Kept Her Relationship a Secret For A While

When Jessica Sanchez and DeAndre Brackensick confessed their love for each other in public, it was warmly welcomed by the American Idol fans.  Sanchez finished second and Brackensick finished eighth on the popular TV show American Idol.  It came as a surprise for most people, especially the fans, since they have not opened up about their love lives before.

Sanchez, 16, and Brackensick, 17, are only one year apart.  It was recently exposed that they've been an item longer than the public knows.

The songstress herself admitted in an interview with ABS-CBN News on July 26, "Me and him kept it a secret for a while, I have to say."

"But I kind of felt guilty after a while because I tell my fans everything and they want them to know everything about me," she continued.

Sanchez has a very close relationship with her followers, also known as blujays.  She desires to give her fans information firsthand and share her life with them.

Now that the relationship was revealed firsthand by the two lovebirds themselves via Twitter, their fans cannot help but be happy for them.  Though Sanchez may feel a bit guilty for hiding such an important aspect of her life for so long, blujays are supportive of her and Brackensick.

"Dude, just take care of her, kay? <3" one fan wrote to DeAndre.

"AWWW!!! :D Congratulations, you two are perfect for each other!! :D <3"

The two are currently traveling and singing together on the American Idol Live! Tour.
