My, so that's how Kim Kardashian stays so thin. North West's mother is dishing out on her slimming secrets, and waist training is apparently one of the ways this hot keeps her stomach flat and in shape.

In the photo, Kardashian is promoting a corset by a company called, Whats A Waist, that brags about helping you lose up to seven inches for frequent users, if used proper.

Ladies throughout generations have always been told to wear a girdle, or a corset to look slimmer, but will such a undergarment really reshape your figure, so that you have that nice "coke bottle" shape.

According to Today, Stephen Ball, an associate professor in the department of nutrition and exercise physiology at the University of Missouri, says no way.

"It's going to make you look slimmer when you have it on, but I don't know any physiology that would explain that you're going to lose body fat by wearing this device," Ball said.

"People want a quick fix. They don't want to put in the effort that it actually takes and so I'm sure lots of women will see these pictures and go out and spend their money on these types of devices when they should be focusing on exercise and healthy eating."

Ball wants women, who want to look like their favorite celebrity, to no compare themselves. Instead the professor speaks positive words, by telling women that excercise, and eating healthy is key, and remember your genetics determine your body type.

"A lot of women want to be long, lean and slender and no matter what they do, they're never going to look like the picture on the cover of Vogue," Ball noted.

So what exactly would Kardashian tell her fans? Would she encourage them to eat right and workout as well as use waist training to help, or do you think she is just promoting another friends site?
