Julianne Hough is about to make her way back to Dancing With the Stars and she is opening up about what her new position as a judge on the series is going to be like. The news broke earlier this week that the former DWTS pro would be joining Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, and Bruno Tonioli on the panel for season 19.
As far as the reception from her family and friends, Hough says that everyone is super supportive of her decision to come back to the show, and that she is really "feeling the love."
She spoke with E! News during the Heineken US Open Kickoff Party, and said that she got texts from her fellow judge Carrie, as well as host Tom Bergeron and her brother, dancing pro Derek Hough.
While we are sure that Derek is trying everything to stay in his sister's good graces. since she'll be judging him this season, Julianne says that she hasn't gotten any "butter-me-up requests" just yet.
As far as who the actress/singer/dancer thinks she'll "butt heads with the most" on the show, she says that on the panel it might be with Len because "he is such a stickler," However, she says that when it comes to her judging style, she probably falls in between that of Bruno and Len.
"I have a little bit of encouragement like Bruno does, but I also have some honesty and pinpoints, too," Hough reveals.
When it comes to which dancers she thinks she'll feud with the most, she explains that it's probably the guys of the season that are going to talk back the most, mostly Tony Dovolani and Val Chmerkovskiy.
