'American Horror Story: Freakshow' Season 4 Trailer 'Lick'- Watch Creepy New Promo For 'AHS' Season 4

American Horror Story surprised fans earlier this week when they released a new creepy trailer for the upcoming season Freakshow, but today the creepy level is getting brought up a notch with the brand new promo "Lick."

The new season, which fans have been anxiously waiting for since the end of the third season Coven, will premiere on October 8, but fans are getting a treat a month and a half prior to the premiere.

The new promo shows a close up of bearded man licking a spoon, and while that might not be as creepy as you thought, when he opens his mouth he reveals his split tongue. He wraps his forked tongue around the spoon before licking his lips and beard.

The ten-second video, like the one "Admit One" video, which was released earlier this week, gives little away about the new season.

While both videos may be short and sweet, they really give us the willies. In the ten-second "Admit One" preview, which can be watched here, the camera focuses on a four fingered hand that emerges from the darkness and opens up its palm to reveal an admit one ticket to the freakshow.

What we do however know about that new season, is that it will be set in the 1950's in the town of Jupiter, Florida, where returning cast member Jessica Lange will do anything and everything she can to save her dying carnival.

Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Emma Roberts, Angela Bassett, and Frances Conroy will all be returning to the FX horror series. Creator Ryan Murphy is also adding newcomers Patti LaBelle and Wes Bentley to the cast for the fourth season.

Also set to join the new season is Jyoti Amge, who is the Guinness Book of World Record holder for the world's smallest woman.

FX has also released a brief synopsis for the series, stating, "begins its tale in the quiet, sleepy hamlet of Jupiter, Florida. The year is 1952. A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike. This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience."

We are not so patiently waiting for the new season to premiere on Wednesday, October 8 at 10 pm on FX.
