[WATCH] 'Brittany Murphy Story' Trailer- 'Uptown Girls' Star Biopic Gets A Preview & Release Date

We are only a few weeks away from seeing Brittany Murphy back on our TVs. The late actress is coming to the Lifetime Network in a new biopic based around her life. The Brittany Murphy Story, will air on September 6, and will tell the story of the Uptown Girl and Clueless actress as she makes her rise to fame and also will feature her untimely death.

Lifetime has just debuted the all-new trailer for the biography story.

From the video we can tell that there will be a lot of drama in the film. It will see Murphy, who is being played by Amanda Fuller, as she battles paranoia, drug addiction, and the results of her cosmic rise to superstardom. The story will also touch on her death.

Brittany passed away in December of 2009, and her husband Simon Monjack died a few months later. The cause of both their deaths was ruled to be from pneumonia as well as other causes.

From the new clip we can tell that we will get to see Fuller on the set of some of our favorite Brittany movies including Clueless, where we see her getting pampered by what are supposed to be Stacey Dash and Alicia Silverstone.

Also from the trailer we will get to see the life of the actress as she was constantly hounded by the paparazzi.

Murphy's career spanned nearly two decades from her roles in TV shows and feature films including 8 Mile, Girl Interrupted, Uptown Girls, and Little Black Book.
