'American Idol' William Hung Marries- The 'She Bang' Singer Ties the Knot

American Idol alum William Hung has a new wife that he can sing "She Bang" to every night before they go to sleep. The former Idol contestant, who didn't make it past the audition round, has found a new wife in Jian Teng.

The couple was married earlier this summer in Alhambra, California. Hung confirmed the news of his June 18 wedding to PEOPLE magazine, gushing about his new bride.

"She's a fantastic wife and I'm glad to have somebody to support me," the 31-year-old former singer explained.

It looks like William has hung up his singing gear, as he is now working as an administrative assistant in the Department of Public Health in Los Angeles, California. His wife, also 31, has found work as a licensed vocational nurse.

Hung was featured on the third season of American Idol back in 2004, where his quirky personality and his hilarious rendition of Ricky Martin's, "She Bang" made audience members fall in love with him.

While Simon and the other judge didn't put William through to the next round, his off key, and out of tune performance was one that helped him rise to stardom.

After being featured on the show he got a record deal and put out a few albums, mainly performing covers of others songs. A huge accomplishment for Hung was getting the chance to perform in front of crowds of 25,000 people.

The star has since stepped out from the limelight and has decided to go for a more realistic career.
