Don't you ever wish you could turn the clock back to the early 2000's when Hilary Duff and Aaron Carter were still in a relationship together? Well we know that he wishes he could. A few months ago the singer explained that the Duffster was the "love of my life," and today he is opening up about his feelings now that the singer is reigniting her musical career.

"I think it's great," the Carter explained to Celebuzz of Hilary's newest music endeavor, at the opening of Dave & Buster's at the Hollywood Highland Center earlier this week. "Keep up the good work, Hilary!"

He also expressed his fondness of her new music, including new song "Chasing the Sun." "Its all good," he explained. "I think it's really great to see her get back out there."

After Hilary and her husband of three years announced their split, Carter was quick to speak up and say that he was going to spend the "rest of my life trying to better myself to get back to her."

"I don't know who she is today, she doesn't know who I am today but I would sweep her off her feet if I ever got a chance to again and fix what I did wrong," the singer explained back in April to Entertainment Tonight, opening up to his mistakes creating a love triangle between Hilary, himself, and Lindsay Lohan.

He also goes on to say he's going to try to fix his relationship with Hilary.

"I'm going to do everything in my power to fix these relationships in my life just like I want to fix the relationship I had with the love of my life."

Complementing a girl's music might be the first way to get back in her good graces.
