Lady Gaga Tweets Tribute to Godfather Who Died

Lady Gaga tweeted a message dedicated to her godfather, who had recently passed away.  

She posted the sad news through Twitter to her 27 million plus followers.  The godfather's name was not revealed.

The pop star tweeted, "My godfather died yesterday, sweet man I love him. That's me, just a li'l baby in his arms. Buono note (good night)."  Attached to the message was an old photo of her godfather holding her when she was a small baby.

The superstar tweets regularly, putting her life on display for her little monsters to see.  

The mother monster herself is the godmother of Elton John's son Zachery.
