After a long, hard process Kevin Love is now a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers, and he will get to play with LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. The All-Star spent his entire career with the Minnesota Timberwolves, and now he seems destined to get a shot at winning an NBA championship with King James. The pair played together for the U.S. Olympic team in 2012, and it seems he's dreamed of doing so on a permanent basis. At his introductory press conference, he explained so much of what we've been desperate to know.
Love explained "Sitting next to me, a locker really close to me and he would always tell me how good he thought I was. For me I would just kind of brush it off and shake it off because I was standoffish because I didn't know him well. I thought that one day maybe I could play with LeBron James,"
Love talked about his former team, saying "The people of Minnesota were great, the fans were great, they showed up, win, lose or draw, and I really developed a lot of relationships all the way down through the organization," he said. "It was a great six years, and I enjoyed my time, and I can't say enough good things about it."
Love has what he wants, and the Wolves have some young talents to replace him. Is there really a loser in this trade? Lets see if LeBron can win more titles now he's got the Love he wanted so badly.
