Was BET trying to get payback for Beyonce never attending any of their awards? If so going below the belt and talking about Queen Bey's daughter, Blue Ivy wasn't the best thing to do.
MStars News has learned that the network has apologized for making comments, claiming that the criticized hair remark that 106 & Park host, Karrueche Tran read, was a VMAs joke.
Monday night, all chaos broke loose on social media, as fans of Beyonce and Jay Z, and little Blue Ivy came to their defense and responded with outrage to Chris Brown's girlfriend, after she read a produced script about the Carter's daughter.
During 106 & Park's show the new host, aired a segment dedicated to Blue Ivy called the "top six things Blue Ivy thought about the VMAs." "'I really did wake up like this because my parents never combed my hair,'" Karrueche read, referring to the hit song, Flawless, before laughing, and yelling, "Sorry, Blue! I love you!"
Although Karrueche tried to defend herself on her Twitter page, the damage has been done.
Now y'all know I LOVE me some Beyoncé and Blue Ivy! I didn't write this script y'all lol

Stephen G. Hill, president of music programming and specials for BET Networks, expressed his apologizes on behalf of the network via Twitter with a statement on Tuesday. He noted that he contacted Beyonce and Jay Z personally to apologize.
(1/4) Last night on 106 & Park there was a stupid, unthoughtful joke made about a young child. — Stephen Hill (@StephenGHill) August 26, 2014
(2/4)We apologize publically to the child’s parents (and have done so privately) and we have taken punitive actions with those responsible.

(3/4)It was very bad judgment and we will serve you much better in the future. — Stephen Hill (@StephenGHill) August 26, 2014
(4/4) Oh, and please don’t hate on Karrueche; it was NOT her fault. We also apologize to her for putting her in that position.

This is just one time out of many that the little 2-year-old has been criticized about her hair. There is even a petition up for Beyonce, and Jay Z to comb their daughter's hair. The site is called, "Comb Her Hair."
The site is described as, "As a woman who understands the importance of hair care. It's disturbing to watch a child suffering from the lack of hair moisture. The parents of Blue Ivy. Sean Carter A.K.A Jay-Z and Beyoncé has failed at numerous attempts of doing Blue Ivy Hair. This matter has escalated to the child developing matted dreads and lint balls. Please let's get the word out to properly care for Blue Ivy hair."
The site reveals that it already has almost 6,000 supporters of the petition.
106 & Park did not air on Tuesday, and according to the rumors and reports, like Necole Bitchie, the show will not air for the entire week.
Does this affect you watching the show, or even BET as a whole? Sound off below.
