'Pretty Little Liars' Season Finale Recap Twitter Reactions, 'RIPMONA' Trends

The summer finale of Pretty Little Liars left viewers speechless last night as one of the major characters was killed off. In the teasers for the midseason finale viewers were warned that one of the cast members would be killed off, but we never thought it would happen like this.

*SPOILER ALERT*

A quick recap for those of you out there that for some reason didn't watch. Mona and the liars began to close in on Alison's game, or should we say A's game, as the girls just discovered that Ali has taken over as the black hooded villain on the series. Mona put all the pieces together but she doesn't have time to do anything with the evidence as Alison snuck into her house and killed her before she could do anything.

Poor Mona, and just when we were starting to like her.

Twitter blew up with fan reactions to the horrific events of the fifth season summer finale, hashtagging #RIPMONA to show their support to the fallen liar.
