Yes, it's true. The Jimmy Pardo (from television!) just took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge with the help of his young son, Oliver.
Donned in one of his many band t-shirts (this one was The Cure), the comedian from Conan O'Brien's TBS series, CONAN, took to the challenge in what looks like his backyard and noted that it was finally his turn to accept and donate some of the many, many dollars he's earned from the business of show to the ALS Association.
The Never Not Funny podcast host uploaded the below video via YouTube and expressed, in full disclosure, that there was no ice in the buckets and his hose had been laying outside for months without use. "So the water is not cold, might even be warm!" he said.
So, perhaps it's better to say that Pardo took the Bucket Challenge as opposed to the Ice Bucket Challenge. Maybe he was joking? Hard to tell. Regardless, he did it.
Check out the video of the comic's challenge below:
Despite having gotten quite a bit of water in his ear, which obviously baffled the funnyman, Pardo succeeded in completing the challenge in an entertaining way. He then nominated his fellow Never Not Funny co-host Matt Belknap, CONAN writer Dan Cronin ... and Tom Selleck for some reason.
"That's right, Selleck," he said towards the end of the video. "You can't hide anymore! Let's do this, Magnum. Quit screwing around."
In watching, how did it get in his ear?
