Charlamagne Tha God is having second thoughts about adult illiteracy after learning that the disability is quite frequent, and now feels terrible about releasing audio of Floyd Mayweather struggling to read a radio spot.
"In hindsight, I feel a little bad about it, just a little, because I didn't know there were that many people out there suffering from illiteracy," Charlamagne said during an interview with gossip site Bossip.
Last week, The Breakfast Club radio show co-host shared audio of Mayweather trying to read a promo for the station. Charlamagne claimed that he aired the audio clip because that's his job.
"I super-serve my listeners. When I hear 50 Cent saying that the man can't read. I don't know what 50's talking about. So when my producer comes to me and says, 'Hey, we got audio of Floyd reading,' and I listen to it, my first thought is, 'The listeners need to hear this,'" he said before requesting that sympathizers should not feel so bad for the boxing champ.
Charlamagne went on to reveal things that Floyd has done in recent years that has give him a crazy reputation.
"Don't feel sorry for the villains," Charlamagne added.
Floyd responded to 50 Cent via Twitter with a simple, "Read this $$72,276,000.00. God bless."
