'Friends' Central Perk New York City: Coffeehouse Coming To Manhattan Fall 2014 To Celebrate TV Shows 20th Anniversary!!

Ten years after the series finale it looks like the Friends reign just won't let up, as on top of the reunion on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night with Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox and Lisa Kudrow, it has just been announced that a Central Perk coffee shop is actually coming to New York City. It's about time, are we right?

According to Entertainment Weekly, the coffeehouse will be a popup shop that is going to be open for a month between September 17 and October 18. The popup is to commemorate the 20^th anniversary of the first episode premiering in 1994.

The idea is a partnership between Warner Bros. Television Group, Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Eight O'Clock Coffee, who are recreating an exact replica of the coffee shop in downtown Manhattan.

To make this news even better, the coffeehouse will be giving away free coffee during the one month run.

On top of the free coffee, attendees will also get bragging rights and the opportunity to snag photos on the signature orange couch. Fans will also get treated to live musical performances including "Smelly Cat" and other songs from the series. We are hoping that Lisa Kudrow stops by to treat fans to a performance.

While none of the stars of the show have yet to confirm appearances, James Michael Tyler is set to make occasional visits to the shop. Fans will know him as Gunther, the barista who always had an unrequited crush on Rachel (Aniston).

There will also be giveaways, trivia events, and different contests throughout the one-month run. Also fans can get their merchandise fix, as the shop will also be selling Friends memorabilia.

The store will be located at 199 Lafayette Street in Manhattan from September 17 to October 18.
