The UEFA Champions League is considered the biggest and best competition in the entire sporting world. To be the best football player, you must win the prestigious trophy. Real Madrid beat their La Liga and city rivals, Atletico Madrid, in the 2013/14 final, and they'll be hoping to repeat it - especially if Cristiano Ronaldo has anything to say about it. He was also there to witness the live draw. The elite clubs, especially from La Liga, the Premier League and the Bundesliga were watching with wide eyes. Clubs like Barcelona, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal and Bayern Munich learned their fate.
For the first time in a long while, Manchester United are not in the UEFA Champions League, but their fellow EPL teams Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City and Arsenal will be hoping to fly the flag for the British teams. It might not be any easier for Man City this season, as they will yet again face Munich in the UCL.
Could their be a surprise finalist appearance for a team this season, remembering that Atletico got there last year, when many believed they'd struggle to get out of the group stage? There are many competitive teams in this seasons tournaments, and there are around eight teams who will see themselves as a top contender to win it all.
