Angelina Jolie's Father, Actor Jon Voight Was Not Invited To Brad Pitt And Jolie's Wedding?

If you were wondering why actor, Jon Voight didn't attend his daughter Angelina Jolie's wedding ceremony in France as she finally married, actor Brad Pitt, well it is simple, he was invited.

According to TMZ, Voight revealed that he first learned about his daughter's wedding plans on Thursday morning when he read it in headline news online. The actor says that he is totally fine about not getting an invite to the wedding because he wouldn't be able to attend anyways due to the Emmys this past Monday.

The Emmy nominee attended the show as he was nominated for his role on Ray Donovan, as Brad Pitt's entire immediate family attended a wedding.

For the fans unaware of the family drama, Jolie, and her father's relationship became distant after the Voight claimed his divorce with Jolie's mother caused the Mr. And Mrs. Smith star to have "mental problems." But in 2010, the father, and daughter made amends with each other.

In 2005, it was rumored that Pitt committed adultery on his former wife, actress Jennifer Aniston with Jolie, during their divorce. Pitt and Jolie were seen together, and confirmed that they were expecting their first child in 2006. The couple annouced their engagement in April of 2012, and were married over the weekend on August 23, 2014 in a private ceremony in Chateau Miraval, France.

Pitt, 50, and Jolie, 39, have 6 children together, Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 8, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 6, whom all took part in the wedding, according to ABC.
