Mariah Carey has released the cover artwork for her new single "Triumphant (Get Em')," which will premiere on Thursday, August 2 and features Rick Ross and Meek Mill.
In the photo, which she posted on her Twitter page on Monday, Carey poses seductively amid a blended black and gold background. She wears a sheer, strapless gold dress with her side torso cut out, and her honey-hewed locks flow down to her midsection.
Along with the image Carey tweeted:
@MariahCarey: "Here's the cover of my new single #Triumphant!! World premiere this Thursday, Aug 2. GET 'EM!"
A few hours before the big announcement, Carey tweeted an Instagram picture of herself lounging out on a beige couch during a break from filming the music video for "Triumphant (Get Em')," tweeting:
@MariahCarey: "On the set of the TRIUMPHANT (Get 'Em) video shoot. Get ready for a triumphant week, we have surprises every day!"
Mimi, 42, seems to be showing off her post-babies, Jenny Craig-worked bod very well. The new American Idol judge (replacing Jennifer Lopez next season) had twins in May 2011 with her America's Got Talent hubby Nick Cannon.
Carey tweeted about the origins of the song, stating:
@MariahCarey: "I wrote TRIUMPHANT when I was going through a difficult time & it helped me get through it. When u hear it, pay attention 2 the lyrics."
Check out what's rumored to be Carey's next "chart-smasher" hit "Triumphant (Get Em')" when it drops on Thursday, August 2.
