Kim Kardashian Vs. Rita Ora- 'Keeping Up With The Kardashian' Star Asked To Move VMA Seat After Finding Out She Was Near Ora

It could have been a pretty dramatic Video Music Awards last week if producers kept their original seating chart. Kim Kardashian was almost placed a few seats away from Rita Ora, which the Keeping Up With the Kardashian star was not too happy about. When she found out that her seat was close to the British singer, she asked the producers to please find her another seat.

The tension between the two originally stems from Kim blaming Ora for some of Rob Kardashian's recent issues. Rita and Rob famously dated a few years ago but broke things off during an ugly separation back in 2012.

According to the seating chart that was obtained by TMZ, Kim and Rita were sitting in the same row as each other with only two seats in between them. When the KUWTK star arrived to the show and found this out, she asked for the crew to find her a new seat.

TMZ is reporting that Kardashian wasn't a diva about it, but simply didn't want to have to interact with Ora after she broke her brother's heart.

It wasn't an easy task to complete. However, just in time for the show, the creative team behind the VMA's found a new seat for Kim right next to her sister's Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

No news as to why the producers would have put the two so close to each other in the beginning, given the family history, but maybe they were looking to capitalize on some drama between the two to bring in some viewers to the broadcast.
