'Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Twins Teresa Aprea & Nicole Napolitano Quit Mid-Season After Mother Cheating Scandal Airs

Looks like there is trouble in the Garden state. The Real Housewives of New Jersey is in the midst of its sixth season and the drama is getting really juicy. It was just revealed on the show that Santa, who is the mother to new cast members, twins Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano, has an affair with Teresa's husband Rino, while the two were married.

According to Realitytea, the RHONJ drama is getting even more heated as the girls have allegedly quit the series after the revelation was broadcasted. The two apparently were so embarrassed that they left the show and wouldn't agree to film any addition scenes.

The girls are allegedly so upset with Bravo and feel as though producers tricked them in order to get the affair to be talked about on camera. They also feel that the network secretly negotiated with guest star Victoria Gotti to discuss this personal information with Amber Marchese and Teresa Giudice.

Jim Marchese, who is husband to housewife Amber, talked about this on his Twitter page, saying that he thought that producers had enlisted Gotti to talk about the affair on TV.

He also speculated about the twins leaving the show, writing, "The twins quit because of this, so guess Bravo is trying to soften the blow in case they want them back."

However, the girls are denying any speculation of them leaving the series. They both took to their Twitter accounts to address the rumors. Nicole tweeted, "No. Sounds like another lie..." while her sister Teresa says, "Still twinning."

The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs on Sunday at 8 pm on Bravo.
