After months of teasing, Marvel Comics is about to unleash Wolverine's final battle amongst readers in writer Charles Soule and artists Steve McNiven's The Death of Wolverine. This is the perfect opportunity to check out why we're excited for the X-Men hero to meet his bloody demise.

In the story arc, the former Weapon X is left without his mutant healing factor. A list of his deadliest enemies have banded together to take down their weakened prey. Here are five reasons why The Death of Wolverine is a must-read for comic book fans.

5) Everybody Meets The Grim Reaper At Least Once
