American Horror Story: Freak Show is about to get even freakier as Matt Bomer has agreed to step into the role that creator Ryan Murphy has offered to him. Murphy apparently sent Bomer a text asking him to star on the series and it looks like The Normal Heart star is all for it.

"Bring it on! The freakier, the better," Bomer told E! when they caught up with him a few days ago.

However, the details of the role are still being kept under wraps, as Matt isn't even aware of what character he has agreed to play. But the lack of information doesn't seem to bother the White Collar star.

"There's not much out of my comfort zone anymore," Matt explained to E!

As far as how he got the role, Mstars previously reported that all Murphy had to do was send over a simple text message.

"I try to get him to do everything for me," the AHS creator explained. "I sent him a text that said, 'First right of refusal, here's the role.'"

Bomer has also starred in Murphy's creations Glee and this years HBO film The Normal Heart.

The little information that Ryan did divulge about the role was that "it's very... warped."

Bomer join returning cast members Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Evan Peters, Frances Conroy, and Emma Robert in the newest season of the FX horror show.

The fourth season will be set in the 1950's in Jupiter, Florida as Lange's character tries to save her dying carnival from extinction.

American Horror Story: Freak Show will premiere on Wednesday, October 8 on FX.
