The Premier League's summer transfer window has slammed shut, but that doesn't mean the EPL transfer gossip stops there, with clubs already looking to prepare deals for when the window reopens in January. Manchester United spend more money than any other team, but it seems like that was the beginning, and despite signing Angel Di Maria and others, they will bid for Kevin Strootman and Arturo Vidal, and many others. Also, despite missing out on deals, Fabio Borini and Jermain Defoe could be on the move this winter.
United sold several stars, and added some of the world's best players to their squad, but they still have gaping gaps in their squad, and it seems they're looking to finish their rebuilding job this winter. Strootman and Vidal are the two strong midfield enforcers that they wish they'd got this summer. However, Strootman was injured, and Vidal's team, Juventus, played hard-ball, meaning it was tough to land either stars this summer.
United are also worrying that Di Maria may already be eyeing up a potential exit, after PSG have claimed that he always wanted to move to France, instead of England, when he left Real Madrid behind. Borini and Defoe are EPL targets for QPR, and both wanted moves this window just gone, but it's believed certain stumbling blocks wouldn't allow for it, so their potential moves could take place in January instead.
Which move should these teams look to make when the transfer window reopens this winter? It seems yet again, United will be central to it all.
