Minor League Hockey Team To Premiere ‘Seinfeld’ ‘Puffy Shirt’ Jerseys To Celebrate 25th Anniversary [PHOTO]

Though Seinfeld went off the air 15 years ago, the popularity of the famed NBC series continues to be on the rise. And now, The Bakersfield Condors, a minor league hockey team out of California, will don specialty "Puffy Shirt" jerseys during a game on Sunday, Nov. 16.

The jerseys come with the purpose of celebrating the 25th anniversary of the very first episode of the renowned comedy series, which has grown to become one of the most popular of all time. Arguably, the best comedy series ever created, as well.

The Condors made the announcement via Twitter just yesterday and added a photo of the jerseys along with the caption "They're real and they're spectacular. Seinfeld Puffy Shirt specialty jerseys!"

As if the jerseys weren't enough, the team announced that the night will be filled with Seinfeld-isms, including several sponsorships from companies mentioned within the show (Vandelay Industries and Pendant Publishing) and custom name bars. Rather than hosting the players' names, the back of the jerseys will house a slew of Seinfeld favorites, such as: Jerry, George, Kramer, Elaine, Newman, Frank Costanza, Puddy, J. Peterman, Morty Seinfeld, Uncle Leo, Art Vandelay, and many, many more.

Fans are able to vote on the "final five" names here.

Attendees will have the chance to win one of the five jerseys to be given away. The rest will then be auctioned off for the Mastering Abilities Riding Equines Riding Center (M.A.R.E.), located in Bakersfield, which "provides equine assisted activities for the benefit of people living with special needs and disabilities."
