Jonathan Hickman, Valerio Schiti's 'New Avengers' #24! 'Time Runs Out' For Marvel Comics''The Avengers!'

Marvel Comics brings readers their first look at the rise of a new Cabal. In writer Jonathan Hickman, artist Valerio Schiti's oversized New Avengers #24, Judgment Day heads towards the Marvel Universe as The Avengers and Illuminati wage war against each other.

In the 'Time Runs Out' storyline, the Avengers and New Avengers jump forward eight months into the future as the threat of an intergalactic war looms. The story arc continues from The Avengers #35 into New Avengers #24, as both comic series face the upcoming changes that will unfold across the Marvel Universe.

The "Incursion," a contradiction in the Multiverse's timeline, has increased in deadly numbers The parallel Earths have increased in number and have become too powerful to handle. In order to save the universe, one Earth must be destroyed each time.

While the Avengers & Illuminati battle over what must be done, the ruler of Atantis, Namor, has taken matters into his own hands! Thanos, Maximus, Black Swan, Terrax, Proxima Midnight & Corvius Glaive have formed a new Cabal to threaten our superheroes. This group of baddies will stop at nothing to make sure their Earth survives, including the destruction of other worlds.

In an interview with Marvel, Executive Editor Tom Brevoort teases, "This isn't some maybe-future, this is the real deal." Brevoort continues, "We'll also be providing a glimpse into the immediate future of our characters and what changes await them over."

Nothing will help Earth's Mightiest Heroes as they are about to face the Final Incursion.
