Love And Hip Hop ATL Benzino Responds To Mimi Faust, Nikko Smith Relationship: "Poor Mimi"

"Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta" star and former rapper Benzino, is sticking up for Mimi Faust after getting jumped by Stevie J's wife, Joseline Hernandez as her estranged boyfriend, Nikko Smith just watched it all go down.

Thursday, Benzino posted an Instagram video of the moment when LHHATL reunion host, Sommore confronted Nikko about his whereabouts when the chaos happened and the reality star said he was whisked away by security, however a playback clip shows the sex tape star watching the brawl.

Benzino wrote, "Poor Mimi, she deserves better #teammimi."

In a recent interview with Sister 2 Sister, Mimi stood up for Benzino after his fallout with Stevie J and blamed his wife for the destroyed friendship, "I think Benzino really had his friend's best interest at heart and he was trying to look out for him, whether he went about it the right way or not, that's a matter of opinion," she added, "He really was like, 'This person in your life is causing havoc and wreaking havoc with everyone else in your life on purpose,'" said Mimi. "He was trying to get him to understand."

In an early episode, it seemed that the couple had a lingering beef ongoing after Benzino sat down with the sex tape star to land her on the cover of Hip Hop Weekly magazine and told her if she decided not to cooperate he would post an older photo of her instead. Mimi didn't take his threats lightly and told him that she would proceed with legal action if he put her face on the cover of his magazine.
