Season 2 of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. hits the airwaves on Sept. 23 at 9 p.m. with some fresh faces to go along with the core team we met in Season 1. One of those new characters is Lance Hunter, played by British actor Nick Blood.
ETOnline has posted a photo of Blood as the mercenary, along with the following blurb:
"Are you ready for more gadgets, gizmos and grade A action?! Well you're in luck, because the second season of the Marvel's hit TV franchise is headed back to a small screen near you, and they're introducing a fan-favorite comic book character to the mix!
Lance Hunter, who will be played by the brooding British actor Nick Blood, a mercenary who you most definitely don't want to mess with! And executive producer Maurissa Tancharoen revealed to ET that this character is going to have a major role in the new season.
'Now that S.H.I.E.L.D. has fallen, Coulson has to look outside of the organization for help, and make uneasy alliances with people like Lance Hunter,' Tancharoen said. 'Hunter is a mercenary, in it for the money, not the cause. Whether his allegiance is to anyone but himself is still in question.' Better keep you're guard up, agents..."
What do you think of the photo of Lance Hunter? How do you think he will integrate into the team of Coulson, Skye, Fitz and the rest? Will he end up as friend or foe to the group? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
