'Avengers & X-Men: AXIS' #1! Captain America's Red Skull Takes Down Marvel Universe!

Marvel Comics has put together the biggest battle their superheroes have ever faced. Captain America's arch-nemesis Red Skull threatens the Marvel Universe in writer Rick Remender and artist Adam Kubert's blockbuster crossover event, Avengers vs X-Men #1.

As mentioned previously, Magneto has discovered his best friend's dead body has been missing from his tomb. The Master of Magnetism is incredibly angry when he realizes Red Skull has kidnapped the late Charles Xavier. Steve Roger's longtime enemy will use the extraordinary brain to world's most powerful telepath to make himself stronger.

A new threat rises as the powerfully built Red Skull gathers his army and broadcasts his message of hate across the globe. We mentioned here that Sabretooth, Loki and Doctor Doom are just a few of the baddies in his team. The Red Skull gets the attention of the two superhero teams as he has enslaved the proud nation of Genosha in his bid for world domination.
