Melanie Griffith & Antonio Banderas Divorce Drama: Actor In Love With Another Woman Before Divorce Filing

Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas may have just recently called it quits on their 18-year marriage, but it looks like troubles for the couple started way before the actress filed the papers on June 6. According to new reports, long before the marriage was even over, Banderas already had a relationship going on with Nicole Kempel.

According to RadarOnline, Antonio began a relationship with the blonde banker prior to the divorce proceedings, but now the actor wants to finalize the divorce because he is "in love" with Kempel.

Reports of the two getting together began earlier this year in May, when Kempel and Banderas were spotted getting down on the dance floor at the Cannes film festival. Soon after that the two enjoyed a boat trip together to a resort town off the coast of France.

Despite the rumors, the couple has tried to keep their relationship quiet until after the divorce proceedings were over.

"Only her closest family and friends knew," the source tells Radar of Kempel and Antonio's relationship. "They were hiding everything from everybody because Melanie got a very good divorce lawyer, and I think he was hoping to keep it under wraps until the end of the divorce."

But it looks like the two can't keep mum on their romance anymore as reports are claiming that "he is really in love with her," also mentioning, "he comes to France to visit her when he can, and they already went for a ten-day vacation together in secret."
